FORKLIFT OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING
Students will initially participate in a classroom theory session complete with a test of knowledge. Upon successful completion of this classroom training component, they will work directly with the forklift equipment to complete inspections, safe operation techniques, load handling, ramp and dock familiarization and then will complete an individual assessment of their competency on the equipment.
The training meets ANSI and CSA standards requirements for forklift training.
ONE-DAY CERTIFICATION CLASS (Duration & Cost: 6-8 hours @ $175.00)
This course is for the operator having some basic knowledge and experience with forklifts, but has never been properly trained and evaluated by a certified instructor.
RE-CERTIFICATION CLASS (Duration & Cost: 4 hours @ $125.00)
This refresher course is for any person that has previously had forklift training, and wishes to renew their operator qualifications.
Prerequisite: Operator must have proof that they have previously attended a formal forklift training program delivered by a qualified instructor.
NEW DRIVER CERTIFICATION CLASS (Duration & Cost: 2 days plus @ $275.00)
This course is designed to help the individual with no experience become familiar and competent with the proper procedures required for the safe operation of a forklift.
AERIAL BOOM LIFT OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING
Aerial Lifts, also known as self propelled boom supported elevating work platforms, are used in a variety of industries from construction projects, to sporting events. The safety factors built into these lifting devices make them very versatile and they are utilized in a wide range of applications. Unfortunately, every year there are injuries and fatalities resulting from the unsafe and careless use of these Aerial Lifts.
Safe At Home Training provides the industry recommended curriculum for Aerial Lift operator safety awareness. The main objective of the Aerial Lift safety training program is to provide the operator with the necessary knowledge and skill required to operate this specific equipment in a safe and competent manner.
This training is very comprehensive with an emphasis on work-site safety. The material covered meets the standards for federal and provincial regulations as it pertains to safe operation and establishing competency. The course is for anyone who will be regularly operating Aerial Lifts at their workplace and covers the key points regarding the safe use of the equipment and safe work procedures. This course has both a theory and hands-on practical training component.

SCISSOR LIFT OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING
Safe At Home Training provides the industry recommended curriculum for “self-propelled elevating work platform” operator safety training. Simply known as a scissor lift, the safe operation of this equipment is the main focus in this program. The primary objective is to provide the necessary knowledge and skill required to become a safe and competent scissor lift operator.
Training is very comprehensive, and meets the criteria set forth by WorksafeBC, CSA Standards and all other regulatory bodies as it pertains to safe equipment operation and establishing operator competency. This program will cover a classroom and a hands-on component.

IN-HOUSE FORKLIFT SAFETY PROGRAM
Also known as “Train the Trainer” this in-depth course is designed to help the employer implement a comprehensive in-house forklift safety training program that complies with all regulatory bodies. The program is designed to give the trainer the necessary skills and tools to convey, coach, and teach the importance of safe forklift operation to employees and co-workers. This program comes with an extensive power point presentation that will be the basis for teaching operators in the future.
The focus of the program is on your company’s specific workplace hazards, your equipment, and your working environment.
